Americans, understandably so, LOVE dogs! Over 330 million Google searches are created every year to different breeds of dogs.
The team at OurFitsPets recently tallied all of the dog breed searches from January 2022 to January 2023 to determine the breeds we’re most fascinated with.
Their results found that the most searches were for the Cane Corso. This canine is an Italian breed of mastiff. They make tremendous companion dogs and have been used to keep both livestock, and owners, feeling safe. Historically, they were used for large game hunting and as cattle herders. The Cane Corso receives over 1.32 million monthly searches and was the top in 46 states.
